If you like beets – and I know some of you out there do – you’re going to love this kale smoothie. It tastes ri-dic-ulously good. I mean, ALL the smoothies on this site taste good of course; I don’t post a recipe if it isn’t highly delicious – but trust me I tested a lot of different configurations of beets and other things, and this one tastes the best.
Plus, as always it will give you a pleasantly-surprising jolt of energy, and leave you feeling like you just ate a complete breakfast. What could be better than that? Absolutely nothing in the world.
So please enjoy this recipe, and if you are so inclined, don’t hesitate to tell me what you thought in the comments below! I also welcome constructive criticism, or ingenious modifications you want to share.
For example, after I made this video I was experimenting further and found that – if you add a half-cup of frozen cherries to this smoothie – it is delicious beyond belief. I didn’t think it could get better, but there it was. Even better.
