Ceramic filter


The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) suggests a filter that has a pore size of 1.0 micron or less to remove microbes 1.0 micron or smaller in diameter (like Cryptosporidium and Giardia).

Product Description

Our Micro Ceramic Filter has an absolute pore size of 0.2 which ensures larger particulates cannot pass through it.

  • After several uses, a slimy residue will build up on the filter. When this occurs, gently scrub and rinse the filter on all sides. Do not use soap to clean this filter.
  • Replace each year (or 3700 liters) for best performance.
